PERSONALITY: Amanda is The Rebellious Teenager - a chronic free spirit, dedicated wholeheartedly to the cause of doing whatever the hell she feels like at any given time. Authority frustrates her; so when she has the motivation, frustrating authority in turn is a blast. That said, much of her freedom is spent not raising hell or picking fights, as opposed to just having a blast. Broom riding class? She's fast and an excellent acrobat, so that's how she flies, and who cares what the rules say. She's a pretty lazy rebel, in that regard, the sort to skip classes, not become a class clown. Most of her schooling involves the barest effort to get by, bolstered by just enough talent to get away with being lazy. Not like it matters much to her, personally.

If anything has kept her from getting actively expelled, it's that she hasn't found any way to do it while making enough of a show out of it.

Amanda is, at times, a huge showoff, when it involves a talent that she's got both skill and interest in. While she scarcely uses unnecessary spells, she loves the freedom of flying on her broom, and she's damn good; the only real competition for Diana in a race. Amanda wants everyone to know that she's badass, whether it's flying or breaking into an all-boys school and picking fights, or getting a chance to show off her dancing - and she knows she's good at it. Once she sets her mind to something there's scarcely a concern in her mind that she'll fail... even when she's failed plenty of times. Those were all flukes, right?

Often, what motivates her to be such a showoff, then, is when her rebelliousness and pride both overpower her laziness - when someone challenges or insults her. ...or a perceived challenge, given that Diana just exudes superiority. That's when she takes it personally, and she'll take action to correct everyone's perceptions. The guys in that school she invaded want to Inquisition her and pick a sword fight? She's not just going to win, she's going to make the guy look like an idiot. Diana's in the broom relay? Amanda needs to win. There are times when needing to win takes precedence even over pride in her own skills, though, and she's not above cheating.

Or stealing. Amanda's totally okay with stealing, for example, a valuable, legendary broom in order to win a race, regardless of the dangers; she'll help Akko steal something just because she doesn't really care. It's one part thrill-seeking, and probably another part growing up wealthy; in the OVA she even stages an outright heist, slipping past deathtraps, to steal a valuable artifact from Luna Nova just for fun.

Despite all her established selfishness and apathy, though, Amanda's not really a terrible person - bored, stifled, and spoiled maybe, but a surprisingly good friend once you've earned it. The easiest way to earn it is to not conform; her roommates are fellow outsiders in Luna Nova, so she sticks to them readily, and is quick to support her friends' dreams whether it be Constanze using machinery to solve her problems, Constanze entering the Wild Hunt, or Jasminka... ...eating? And with Akko and company being outsiders, she gets along with them pretty quickly - especially Akko. There's a self-serving side to it, of course, because Akko's a danger magnet and therefore interesting, but she doesn't hesitate to go along with a lot of harebrained schemes... for self-serving reasons, again. It's all fun and games until something actually bad happens though; she'll jump to defend any of those friends from getting picked on, dive into danger to keep people safe, and for all the fun she has picking on Akko, seems to have even more fun cheering her on when she comes through. Ultimately, she's even totally on board with the crazy plan to launch Akko and Diana to the edge of space to fight an evil possessed... missile thing, taking a huge risk because she - like the others - totally believes in them.

For all her rebellion, and ego, despite her desire to cause mischief, Amanda's not really trying to do wrong by anyone - she doesn't want to really hurt anyone (unless they've really earned it), she just wants to live her own life and take some snobs who look down on people (or seem to) down a peg every now and then.

POWERS/ABILITIES: https://little-witch-academia.fandom.com/wiki/Magic Magic in her setting can do a little bit of everything with enough expertise and magical energy available in the atmosphere. Amanda's been seen altering her appearance and combining her wand with a fencing foil to make a Real Sword; she can cast fire magic and presumably use any magic considered basic such as turning into an animal or altering some basic properties of an object; and she can, of course, fly on a broom, or probably other similarly shaped objects.

Flight will probably need to be limited, at least, and her magic might be limited in how often she can cast related to game mechanics if you'd like.
